Privacy Policy

This policy explains what eSIMUp collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we handle

When you use eSIMUp, we may handle:

  • Google account details used for sign-in, including your account identifier, email address, display name, and profile picture when available.
  • eSIM purchase and order information, such as the selected package, transaction reference, order status, installation details, and provider responses.
  • Travel plans you create, optional traveler discovery settings, messages, blocks, and reports.
  • Technical information needed to operate and protect the service, including device compatibility details, error information, and security records.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate your account, provide and fulfill eSIM purchases, show installation details, operate optional traveler features, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.

Traveler discovery is optional. Your email address, payment information, exact accommodation details, and eSIM activation information are not displayed to other travelers.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate eSIMUp. These may include Google Firebase for authentication, database, configuration, and hosting; Google Play and RevenueCat for purchase processing; and eSIM suppliers for plan availability and fulfillment.

We share information only as needed to provide these functions, comply with law, protect users, or respond to valid legal requests. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and service information only while needed to provide eSIMUp and meet legitimate security, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, dispute, and legal obligations.

When you request account deletion, we delete or de-identify your account profile and associated social data. We also remove eSIM activation secrets when they are no longer needed. Limited purchase or transaction records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.

You can request deletion from the eSIMUp app or through our public account deletion page.

Your choices

  • You can turn optional traveler discovery off in the app.
  • You can delete travel plans and block or report other users.
  • You can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.
  • You may withdraw from optional features without deleting your account.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

eSIMUp is not directed to children under 13. Optional traveler discovery and messaging features are intended only for adults who confirm they are at least 18.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as eSIMUp changes. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date.
